Mr. Rajendra Senchuri is the founding president and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PDRC International. Mr. Senchuri completed his schooling from Deharadun, India and acquired graduation degree in medical technology from Morgan, University, USA. Despite professional career, Mr. Senchuri is actively engaged in fulfilling the educational needs of underprivileged students in Nepal. Over the years, he made financial, material and other contribution to Nepalese youth through PDRC, Nepal.
Dr. Sunar is the president of Professional Development and Research Center International Inc. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut in 1998. After completing his dental school he did his residency in General Dentistry at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, Manchester, NH. He specialized in endodontic Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry in 2001. After completing his training at NYU, he moved to North Carolina in 2001 serve the Charlotte community. His hard work, dedication towards his profession, he is recognized and emerged as a successful entrepreneur in Charlotte area. Having spent a few of his formative years in Nepal and witnessed the strict Nepalese caste system and its atrocities, as it was apparent everywhere, it left a deep scar in his heart which later became a catalyst for him to work for community and people who suffer same. After completing his own educational journey and associated achievements, he realized the reason behind his parent’s emphasis on education. He came to the realization that education has far reaching repercussions in all aspects of life and beyond.
Chandrakala Poudel was born in Assam, a north east region of India. Upon graduation with Honors in Economics from Dibrugarh University, she completed her Master’s degree in Economics from Tribhuvan University in Nepal. She has more than a decade long experience of working with the international development agencies like GTZ, UNDP and DFID, with specialized focus in economic development. In 2006, she moved to USA and currently working as a travel coordinator for a government contracting firm named ACET. Besides, she was also associated with the Nepalese American Society for Oppressed Community in Nepal (NASO) and supporting the people in need. She is passionate to volunteering work in the community.
Mr. Bidur BK is Computer Science graduate from Maharishi University of Management, USA. He has been working as a Software Developer at Deloitte, USA. He completed his undergraduate degree “Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering” from Institute of Engineering (IOE), Nepal. PDRC Nepal provided full support and counseling to Bidur to achieve his higher education. He was one of the Nepali child delegates to United Nations’ program held on May, 2002 called UNGASS. Mr. BK is a founder member of PDRC International.
Dr. Dan Bishwakarma was born and grew up in a remote village of mid-western Nepal where before him no one had passed school leaving certificate (SLC) exam. Very enthusiastic and hardworking, he stood first throughout his school years and set an example for other students of his community. He completed an Intermediate Degree in Science from Amrit Science Campus and Bachelor in medical science from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Nepal. Soon after the completion of his MBBS, he worked as a house officer in the emergency department of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) and as a medical officer in a district hospital of the government of Nepal. Then, he moved to the US to pursue his higher medical education in October 2001. He completed his residency in July 2008. Currently, he resides in Virginia, USA and operates his own clinic, Prime Medical Care LLC.
